2.17 M.2 SSD Installation Guide (M2_1)

The M.2 is a small size and versatile card edge connector that aims to replace mPCIe and
mSATA. The Hyper M.2 Socket (M2_1, Key M) supports type 2260/2280 PCIe Gen4x4 (64
Gb/s) mode.
* M2_1 is the first priority for M.2 installation.

Before installing a M.2 SSD
module, please loosen the screws to
remove the M.2 heatsink.
*Please remove the protective films on

the bottom side of the M.2 heatsink
before you install a M.2 SSD.
