23. In the event of a flare-up, de-energize the hood and cooking appliances. (Dis-
connect the appliance by unplugging it from the socket.) Cover the flame with a
damp cloth or a damp towel. Never use water to extinguish the flame.
24. Disconnect the power of the device before maintenance. (Disconnect the
power of the device by unplugging it from the socket.)
25. When you connect the chimney to your product, use 150 mm or 120 mm
diameter pipes. The pipe connection should be as short as possible and have as
few bends as possible.
26. Make sure that your child does not play with the product. Do not allow small
children to use your product.
27. If the supply cable is damaged, the damaged cable must be replaced by
the manufacturer or its service agent or an equally qualified person to avoid a
dangerous situation.
28. WARNING: For your safety, make sure that the hood installation uses a
“MAX. 6 A” fuse.
