Preset
Description
Protune gives you full manual control of your GoPro's advanced
settings. Each capture mode and preset has its own unique settings.
You can access them from the capture screen.
1. Tap the settings shortcut

White
Balance
All
Set the color temperature of your videos
and photos. Choose lower values for warmer
tones or leave on Auto (default).
2. Scroll down to the Protune section.
3. Tap the setting that you want to adjust.
4. Use the slider to make adjustments.
5. Tap
to save your changes.
ISO Min
All
Choose the minimum ISO (sensitivity to light
and image noise). The default minimum is
100.

ISO Max
All
Set the maximum ISO (sensitivity to light and
image noise). The default setting is 1600 for
video and 3200 for photo.
Bit Depth
Video
Sharpness All
Controls the quality of the details in your
footage. Choose High, Medium (default),
or Low.
Choose 8-bit (default) for smaller file sizes, or
10-bit for 8K 360 and 4K Single Lens video
for more post-production flexibility and color
depth (LUT provided).
Shutter
Video +
Photo
Set how long the shutter stays open in Video
and Photo modes, or leave on Auto (default).
Color
All
Lets you set the color profile for your videos
and photos. Choose Natural (default),
Vibrant, or Flat.
EV Comp
All
Exposure Value Compensation affects
brightness. Use higher values for brighter
images. The default setting is -05.
Wind
Noise
Video +
TimeWarp
Set to Auto (default) to filter out excessive
wind (and water) noise when needed, On to
always filter out noise, or Off when wind will
not affect sound quality or when you want to
be sure that you record in stereo.
