Troubleshooting Guide
PROBLEM
SOLUTION
Water droplets drip from the soleplate.
Place the Garment steamer in an upright
position on a flat surface and wait some
seconds
The Garment steamer produces a pum-
ping sound/the handle vibrates.
This is normal.
Steam does not come out from the sole-
plate.
Unplug the Garment steamer and refill the
water tank. After switched ON, wait until
the heat up time is completed and then
press the steam button for 10 seconds.
Insert the water tank properly.
Water leaks from the water tank.
Ensure that the filling hole is closed pro-
perly.
Steam indicator light does not work.
Contact an authorized Braun Customer
Service.
Only for Series 7
The appliance produces less steam.
Impurities come out of the soleplate
Perform the descaling procedure.
Steam comes out continuously from the
soleplate.
Deactivate the “continuous steam” func-
tion.
Perform the descaling procedure more
frequently; at least once per month (refer
to the dedicated chapter)
The descaling slider is blocked with scale.
