8. CONNECTION AND INSTALLATION
Connection to Nintendo Switch console
Wireless connection mode:
• In an interface of Nintendo main menu go to “System Settings ☼“ → “Controllers/sensors” →
“Change controller retention method/order“.
• Press “L1 + HOME“ button combination, in order to switch to coupling state; game pad indica-
tors will blink alternatively. Game pad will automatically connect to a console. After successful
connection LED1 indicator will glow constantly.
• Upon consequent power on/reboot of a console, press “HOME“ button, and game pad will
reconnect automatically.
Note. If a console cannot execute controller coupling, perhaps, too many Bluetooth devices
are connected to a console, you may need to manually clear Bluetooth data. Execute the fol-
lowing actions: (System Settings → Controllers/sensors → Disconnect controllers).
Connection to PS3/PS4 console
• Connect a game pad to a console using an interface cable USB A ― USB C. LED1–LED3 indica-
tors should start glowing on a game pad.
• Press and hold “HOME“ button for 1–2 seconds, until LED1–LED3 indicators go out, and LED4
indicator starts blinking rapidly.
• Console will automatically configure Bluetooth connection with a game pad, LED4 indicator
will glow constantly. USB cable can be disconnected.
Note. controller buttons have the same layout as Nintendo Switch, unconventional
layout of PS3 buttons. In order to avoid incorrect pressing, pay attention to button arrange-
ment in games on PS3/PS4.
Connection to PC
Wired connection mode:
• In order to connect a game pad, use an interface USB cable, connected to PC via a free USB port.
• By default the controller is configured to X-Input mode at PC side, buttons have XBOX360
layout, unconventional layout of PC. LED1/2/3 indicators on a game pad glow constantly.
• In X-Input mode press and hold “HOME“ button for 3 seconds, in order to switch to D-Input
mode, game pad will vibrate, and only one LED3 indicator will glow.
X-Input wireless connection mode:
• In order to connect to PC in X-Input mode via Bluetooth, press “HOME + R1“ button combi-
nation; LED1–LED3 indicators will blink rapidly.
• On a PC, in Bluetooth parameters of devices click on a field “Add Bluetooth or another de-
vice“, then click “Bluetooth“ string, and PC will start searching for Bluetooth devices.
• In a list of discovered devices select “Xbox Wireless Controller“. In case of successful connec-
tion game pad will vibrate, LED1–LED3 indicators will glow constantly.
