3.3 Vacuum sealing zip bags, containers and bottles using the WineLock

1.
Place the appliance on the bag / container / or WineLock valve.
2.
Press the appliance’s “On / Off ” button. Air will be sucked out.
3.
The vacuum sealing process stops automatically when a vacuum has been achieved.
4.
You can stop the process at any time by pressing the “On / Off ” button.
5.
Carefully move the appliance to the side to release it from the valve.

PLEASE NOTE
The valve must be dry and free from food residues.
Do not overfi ll bags / containers. Make sure that the food inside bags / containers
does not come into contact with the valve on the inside.
The device should not directly absorb liquids or powders (e.g. water, oil, fl our). If you
notice that the device has sucked in any liquid, then stop the vacuum sealing process
immediately by pressing the “On / Off ” button.
3.4 Opening bags / containers / WineLocks
Push the silicone valve to the side to allow air to re-enter.
3.5 Use / suitability of the Vacu ZIP bags
Make sure that the valve on the inside of the bag does not come
into contact with the contents. Close the zip bag tightly with the
help of a ZIP Locker and check that the zip lock is closed properly.
3.5.1 Heating and freezing the bags
The bags are suitable for the freezer.
You can heat the bags with their contents in the microwave for a maximum of 12 minutes
at 650 W. To do this, open the closure of the ZIP-bag.
The bags are boil-proof for up to 8 hours at 100°C (suitable for sous vide). Be careful that
the valve and the zipper do not come into contact with the water, as otherwise liquid
could enter the bag.
