2. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
When using the appliance, a number of precautions must be observed. Improper use due to disregard of safety
precautions may result in injury to the user and other people, as well as damage to their property.
1. Read the Operation Manual carefully and keep it as a reference.
2. Improper handling of the appliance may result in damage to the appliance and may cause harm to the user.
3. Before initial start-up, check that the specifications indicated on the product correspond to the power supply.
4. Use only for domestic purposes in accordance with these operating instructions. The appliance is not intended for
industrial use.
5. Do not use outdoors or in humid conditions.
6. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience or knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
7. This appliance may be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and if they understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by children
unless they are at least 8 years old and supervised by an adult.
8. Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
9. Always unplug the appliance before cleaning or when not in use.
10. To avoid electric shock and fire, do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids. If this happens, DO NOT
take hold of the product, unplug it immediately and contact a Service Center for inspection.
11. Do not use the appliance in bathrooms or near water.
12. Do not place the unit near heat sources.
13. Do not leave the appliance switched on unattended.
14. Do not use accessories not included in the package.
15. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, service department or similarly qualified
personnel to avoid a hazard.
16. Make sure that the power cord does not touch sharp edges or hot surfaces.
17. Do not pull, twist, or wrap the power cord around the unit.
18. Do not attempt to repair the unit or replace any parts yourself. In case of malfunctions, contact the nearest
Service Center.
