The following shall be carried out for maintenance:

Turn off EWH power;

Cool hot water or discharge it through the mixer;
џ
Cut off supply of cold water into EWH;
џ
Unscrew the relief valve or open drain valve;

To put on the cold water supply inlet or discharge valve a rubber hose, sending the other end down
џ
the drain;
Open a hot water tap on mixer and drain water from the EWH through the hose;
џ
Remove the protective cover, disconnect wires, unscrew and remove from the casing the
џ
removable flange;
Clean if necessary THEs from scale and remove residue from the tank;
џ
Assemble, fill the EWH with water and power on.
џ
When conducting EWH maintenance by forces of specialized organization mark with the seal of
organization performing maintenance shall be made in service coupon.
When conducting EWH maintenance by forces of special organization the appropriate mark shall be
made in the warranty card. When replacing the magnesium anode independently by the consumer
magnesium anode purchase receipt shall be attached to present manual.
Specifying security measures
Electrical safety and corrosion protection of EWH are guaranteed only if there is an effective
earthing in accordance with applicable electric installation rules and regulations.
When installing and operating EWH the following is not allowed:
џ To power EWH if EWH is not filled with water.
џ To remove the protective cover when the power is on.
џ Use EWH without grounding or use water pipes as grounding.

џ To connect EWH to water supply with pressure exceeding 0 6 MPa. (If pressure in the supply
line is more than 0.6 MPa, an appropriate pressure reducing valve shall be installed at cold
water inlet ahead of safety valve (not supplied) to reduce water pressure to normal).
Installation of pressure reducing valve between EWH and relief valve is forbidden.
џ To connect EWH to the water supply without safety valve.
џ To drain water from EWH with power switched on.
џ To use spare parts not recommended by the manufacturer.
џ To use water from the EWH for cooking.
џ To use water containing impurities (sand, small stones), which might lead to EWH and
safety valve breakdown.
џ To modify design and installation dimensions of EWH brackets.
Water freezing in the appliance is prohibited because it causes its malfunction which is not a warranty
case.
EWH is not intended to be used by persons with limitations of health, sense or mental limitations, as
well as persons who are not able to use the EWH, except when it happens under the supervision or
instructions by a person responsible for EWH safety. Children can use EWH only under the
supervision of persons who know how to operate it safely. During EWH operation, it must be
inspected regularly for proper health (absence of dripping, burning smell, wiring sparks, etc.). In the
