Wired LAN

To access the Internet at home, set up an account with an Internet service provider (ISP). Contact a local ISP.

• Some features or procedures may differ depending on the model.

• These descriptions are written for Windows 11, so some figures and descriptions

may differ from your operating system. Since the procedures for other Windows operating systems are similar, use the computer referring to these descriptions.

Wired LAN

1 Connect a LAN cable to the wired LAN port on the computer.

) → Settings → Network & internet → Ethernet.

3 Select Edit next to IP assignment.

4 Configure the IP settings on the Edit IP settings window.

• When using DHCP, select Automatic (DHCP).

• When not using DHCP, contact the network administrator for the IP address. To use

a static IP address, select Manual and select the IPv4 or IPv6 switch to turn it on, and then set the IP address manually. 5 Select Save to save the settings.
