Disassembly

The hinge should be replaced only by technicians with the knowledge and
experience to repair electronic devices. If the hinge is faulty, contact the
specialised repair shop for further action.

• Refer to removing the deco and P-cap in Main Screen.

• Refer to removing the main board in Rear Camera.

1 Set up the main screen removal fixture and verify the power is set to match the rated
input of the power supply and verify the power cable is in good condition, not frayed
or torn. Plug the fixture into wall power using the approved power code for region of
use. Place and align the dummy frame fitly on the device. Rotate the handle so that
the device can be placed on the fixture and adjust the mounting part according to the
length of the device. Put the device on the fixture with the main screen facing up and
rotate the handle so that the device is fully mounted. Close the cover of the fixture
and push the Start button on the front of the unit, and then check the green LCD is
turned on. The main screen is slowly separated as the cover rises automatically. When
the main screen is completely disassembled, press the Stop button twice and remove
the separated screen and the metal frame from the fixture.

• Keep your hands out of main fixture to avoid mechanical pinching, electrical interconnects and hot surfaces.

• Follow the main screen removal fixture’s instructions.

• Any and all liquids, hazardous, flammable or not, should be kept at a distance.

You need to reuse the separated main screen. Be careful not to damage the screen.
