Cleaning the Portafilter Holder & Portafilter
Descaling
Afer use for a period of time, some coffee residues
may be accumulated inside the portafilter holder.
You can use a cleaning brush, sponge, or water to
scrub its interior.
Clean the portafilter and powder bowls with mild
detergent and water, and thoroughly clean and
air-dry all components.
Cleaning the Steam Wand & Steam Nozzle
When the function of making coffee, steaming,
and making hot water is cumulatively performed
500 times, the four indicators of the espresso
machine will simultaneously blink 5 times to
prompt for descaling, and then return to normal.
Regular cleaning and maintenance help to prolong
the service life of the espresso machine, and
reduce the impact of scale accumulation on the
espresso machine performance.
It is recommended to use citric acid for descaling.
Please perform operations according to the
instructions for using citric acid.

Rotate the steam nozzle counterclockwise to
remove it, and rinse it with tap water. Afer cleaning
is completed, tighten the steam nozzle until it is
locked in place.
Wipe the steam wand with a clean towel.
WARNING: To prevent scalding, do not clean the
steam nozzle or the steam wand until it cools off.

It is recommended to regularly clean the interior of
the water tank with a clean towel.
Please empty the drip tray promptly.
Cleaning the Espresso Machine
Fill the water tank with purified water until the
maximum water level (MAX), and pour citric
acid into the water.
Remove the portafilter. Place a cup with a
volume of more than 355 mL below each of the
portafilter base and the steam nozzle.
Press , , or . The water in the water
tank flows out of the portafilter and the steam
nozzle through pipes to remove the scale
accumulated inside. If too much scale is
accumulated, more cleaning cycles can be
repeated. Fill the water tank with purified water
afer the cleaning process.
Note:
Afer the descaling is completed, you must
manually cancel the descaling prompt. Otherwise,
the indicators will blink 5 times as a prompt every
time afer turning on and preheating.
Simultaneously press and hold , , and
for 3 seconds to cancel the descaling prompt.
Do not clean the espresso machine with chemical
solvent or abrasive or alcoholic detergent.
Do not use metal objects for descaling or removing
coffee sediment, so as to prevent scratching the
metal or plastic surface of the espresso machine.
If the espresso machine is unused for more than
7 days, it is recommended to run the cleaning
program once before reuse.
Do not clean the espresso machine in water. Use a
clean towel dipped in clean water to wipe the
surface of the espresso machine.
Before cleaning the espresso machine, turn it off
and disconnect it from power. Do not perform any
operations until the espresso machine sufficiently
cools down.
