Open the cartridge access door.

Wait until the carriage is idle and silent.
4.
Press the Power button (
) to turn off the printer. Then disconnect the power cord and any other
cables from the rear of the printer.
CAUTION:
To avoid the risk of electrical shock, you must unplug the power cord to move the carriage
by hand and reset the paper feed mechanism.
5.
Use a flashlight to check for any jammed paper or foreign objects in the cartridge access area and
remove them.
To avoid tearing any whole sheets of paper, pull the paper with both hands gently.
6.
If the carriage is in the center of the printer, slide it to the right, and then remove any paper or objects
blocking the carriage path.
