z If you have extremely hard water, we
recommend that you use a mixture of
50 % tap water and 50 % distilled water.

z Remove the appliance from the box using
the handle (1) and place it so that it is
level, on a flat, stable and fire-resistant
surface.

z Fix the cable holder (13) on the ironing
board and slide the double cord (10) into
it.
Intended use
z Place the iron on the iron rest (7) or on
its heel rest (6), unwind completely both
cords, plug in the appliance and press the
On/Off button (2).
z The heating up icon starts flashing and
you hear an acoustic signal. The iron will
start to heat up.
The appliance must be used only for ironing
garments which are suitable for ironing ac-
cording to the care label. In addition, the
appliance can be used for refreshing. Ne-
ver iron or dampen garments while wearing
them.
Before first use
z Once the temperature is reached, the
steam setting icon (iCare) appears and
you hear an acoustic signal indicating
steam is ready.
Steam ironing
Press the steam button (5) to release ste-
am.
When steam is ready for the first time we
recommend to iron for a few minutes over
a rag to avoid manufacturing residues can
dirty your garments.
Dry ironing
(A) Filling the water tank
Make sure that the appliance is switched
off and the system is unplugged.
Iron without pressing the steam button (5).
Please note that after 10 minutes of dry
ironing, the iron switches to the stand-by
mode. After additional 10 minutes the auto
off mode is activated.
z Remove the water tank (15).
Steam shot function
z Fill the water tank with tap water, taking
care not to exceed the “max” level but at
least up to the mark “min”.
Press the steam button (5) twice in quick
succession within 1 second. There will be
