(D) Auto Off
z Never use chemicals, vinegar or scouring
pads (eg. sponges with coarse nylon
fabrics etc).
This function is activated if after 10 minutes
there has been no steam emission.
(G) Storage
z When the iron is in the auto-off mode,
the auto off icon starts flashing.
Lock system
z To continue ironing, press any button and
wait until the related icon for the setting
is permanently on.
The appliance is equipped with a lock sys-
tem (14) for convenient transportation and
easy storage. It is possible to lift and carry
the appliance on the handle.
z After additional 10 minutes without
steam emission, the iron and the steam
station turn off.
Note: Before transportation make sure the
iron is properly locked and the water tank
is empty.
(E) Descaling
z Place the iron vertically on its heel (6) rest
or on the iron rest (7) on the base unit.
z When descaling is needed the AutoClean
icon starts flashing.
z To lock the iron turn the switch towards
the iron.
z The
descaling
process
will
start
automatically always before the heating
up process and takes about 2 minutes.
z To unlock the iron turn the switch away
from the iron. The iron will be released.
Storage
z At the end of the descaling process
remove and empty the drawer (8).
z Re-insert the drawer. The heating up
process is starting automatically.
Unplug, empty the water tank and let the
appliance cool down before winding the
cords for storage. For a convenient storage
of the power cord also refer to „Ergonomic
Certification“.
Note: For a long-term maintainance of the
product, a rinsing of the drawer is recom-
mended once per year.
Warranty and Service
(F) Care and Cleaning
After every ironing session remove and
empty the water tank.

z Before cleaning, always make sure that
the appliance is switched off, unplugged
and has cooled down completely.
z To clean the soleplate and the soft
material on the handle it is suggested to
use a damp cloth.
