Intended use
The power tool is designed to perform polish-
ing work of any kind, for example, for polish-
ing the varnished surface of cars, polishing
furniture, metal surfaces, etc. using polishing
pads cage.

► Do not throw the battery pack into fire,
even if it is severely damaged or com-
pletely damaged. The battery pack may
explode if exposed to fire.
►If the battery is damaged or used improp-
erly, gas may be released. Provide fresh
air and consult a doctor if you have any
complaints. Gases may cause respiratory
irritation.
► Clean the ventilation slots of the battery
from time to time with a soft, dry and clean
brush.
► Charge the battery pack without complete-
ly discharging it. Be sure to stop using the
tool and charge the unit if you notice a de-
crease in the tool’s power.
► Never recharge a fully charged battery
pack. Overcharging will shorten the battery
life.
► Charge the battery pack at room tempera-
ture. Allow it to cool before charging a hot
battery pack.
► Charge the lithium-ion battery pack if you
will not use the tool for a long period of
time (more than six months).
► Do not open the battery as there is a risk of
short circuit.
► Protect the battery from high temperatures,
such as prolonged exposure to sunlight,
fire, water and moisture. There is a danger
of explosion.
► Store the battery in a temperature range
from 0 to 45°C. Do not leave the battery in
the car in summer.
► The supplied lithium-ion batteries must be
used in accordance with hazardous goods
legislation.
For commercial transport, such as by a third
party or freight forwarder, the packaging
must be marked with special warnings and
markings. Be sure to consult with a haz-
ardous materials specialist when preparing
your device for shipment. Also comply with
local requirements and regulations. They
can be stricter.
Cover or secure open contacts and pack the
battery so that it does not move around the
packaging.
► Follow local regulations regarding the dis-
posal of the battery pack.

Mounting the grinding tools
Clean the grinder spindle and all parts to be
mounted. For clamping and loosening the
grinding tools, lock the grinder spindle with
the spindle lock button.
►Actuate the spindle lock button only
when the grinder spindle is at a stand-
still. Otherwise, the machine may become
damaged.
See graphics page for the mounting se-
quence.
Polishing disc
Install the polishing plate onto the spindle.
Install the sponge pad onto the polishing
disc.
