HOW TO CONNECT THE CABLE
MAINTENANCE
f At the end that connects to the headphone, the
lockable connecting cable is fitted with a 3-pin mini
XLR cable connector.
f For reasons of hygiene, you should occasionally
clean the headband and ear pads with a soft cloth
moistened with water. Make sure that no water en-
ters the housing or transducers.
f To connect the connection cable correctly, make
sure the small release nose must face the outside of
the headphone.
f If necessary, you can carefully remove the headband
an ear pads and clean them with mild soapy water.
f Make sure that the cable socket snaps into the
housing of the DT 1990 PRO MKII.
Never use any solvent cleaning agents!
Furthermore, the pads must be completely
dry before they are re-attached to the
DT 1990 PRO MKII.
Never use a vaccum cleaner for cleaning the
DT 1990 PRO MKII, as this may cause irrepar-
able damage.
f As headband and ear pads are subject to natural
wear and tear, it is necessary to replace them from
time to time. You can easily do this yourself.
