5.2 Access the internet through the WAN port

If you want to connect your broadband to the router to access the internet, you can access the
internet through the WAN port.

Parameters for accessing the internet are provided by your ISP. Contact your ISP for any doubt.

5.2.1 Access the internet with a PPPoE account

If the ISP provides you with PPPoE user name and password, you can choose this connection type
to access the internet. The application scenario is shown below.

Procedure:

Step 1
Log in to the web UI of the router.

Step 2
Navigate to Internet Settings.

Step 3
Enable the Failover function.

Step 4
Set Connection Type to PPPoE.

Step 5
Enter the PPPoE Username and PPPoE Password.

Step 6
Click Connect.
