Description
Wi-Fi Name
Specifies the Wi-Fi name of the Wi-Fi network.
Used to hide the Wi-Fi name of the Wi-Fi network to improve the security level of the Wi-Fi
network.
Hide
When this function is enabled, the Wi-Fi network is invisible to Wi-Fi-enabled devices. You
need to enter the Wi-Fi name of the Wi-Fi network on your Wi-Fi-enabled devices (such as
a smartphone) manually if you want to join the Wi-Fi network.
Specifies the password for connecting to the Wi-Fi network. You are strongly
recommended to set a Wi-Fi password for security.
Wi-Fi Key
It is recommended to use the combination of digits, uppercase letters, lowercase letters,
and special symbols in the password to enhance the security of the Wi-Fi network.
Specifies the encryption modes supported by the mobile Wi-Fi, including:
−
None: The Wi-Fi network is not encrypted and any clients can access the network
without a password. This option is not recommended as it leads to low network
security.
−
WPA-PSK: The network is encrypted with WPA-PSK/AES, which has a better
compatibility than WPA2-PSK.
Encryption
Mode
−
WPA2-PSK: The network is encrypted with WPA2-PSK/AES, which has a higher
security level than WPA-PSK.
−
WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK: WPA-PSK and WPA2-PSK are adopted to encrypt the
network, providing both security and compatibility.
−
WPA3-SAE/WPA2-PSK: The Wi-Fi network adopts the mixed encryption mode of
WPA2-PSK/AES and WPA3-SAE/AES to ensure the higher safety. You are
recommended to use this encryption mode.
Specifies the channel of Wi-Fi network. The options vary according to the selected country
or region.
Wi-Fi Channel
By default, the Wi-Fi channel is Automatic, which indicates that the mobile Wi-Fi selects a
channel for the Wi-Fi network automatically. You are recommended to choose a channel
with less interference for better Wi-Fi transmission efficiency. You can use a third-party
tool to scan the Wi-Fi signals nearby to understand the channel usage situations.
Specifies the Wi-Fi network standards supported by the mobile Wi-Fi.
Wi-Fi Mode
Only the Wi-Fi clients compliant with the standards can connect to the mobile Wi-Fi. The
Wi-Fi mode is 11b/g/n/ax Mixed by default.
Country/Region
Specifies the country or region where the mobile Wi-Fi is used.
