Replaceable Filter Elements
«BARRIER EXPERT Mechanics»: Pre-filtration. Filter element made of polypropylene
dust with a filtration factor of 5 µm. Removes insoluble mechanical impurities from the
water (rust, lime scale, silt, sand, etc.).
«BARRIER EXPERT IonExchange»: A unique filtration mixture shows high efficacy
in removing heavy and toxic metals throughout the service life of the filter element.
«BARRIER EXPERT Softening»: A filter element with ion-exchange resin. Reduces the
content of hard salts in the water. Due to the use of byPass technology, the service life
of the filter element is extended and the side effect of over-softening is avoided at the
beginning of the resource.
«BARRIER EXPERT Ferrostop»: A multi-layered filter element. The unique technology
FERROSTOP provides superior results in the removal of high concentrations of iron (up
to 5 MPC). Removes fine mechanical impurities. The finishing filtration layer removes
particles down to 1 µm.
«BARRIER EXPERT PostCarbon»: Special treatment filter element. The ion-exchange
fibres hold the ions of heavy metals and remove dissolved iron from the water. Unpleasant
odours and flavours are removed from the water. Activated charcoal primed with silver
prevents the growth of bacteria within the filter element.
