AUTOMATIC WASHING MACHINE
CLEANING THE DETERGENT CONTAINER
1. Press the latch on the siphon in the softener compartment
and pull towards you until the drawer is removed from the
machine.
2. Wash the detergent drawer and the siphon with plenty of
lukewarm water in a washbasin. Wear protective gloves
or use an appropriate brush to avoid touching of the
residues in the drawer with your skin when cleaning.
3. After washing the detergent drawer, please place it back
in its original position and ensure it stands upright.
After washing the detergent container, put it back in place
and make sure it stands up properly.
WARNING Do not use abrasives, benzene, benzene, thinner, chloride, hot
water, metal or coarse brushes, etc. for cleaning, as they may damage the surfaces
of the washing machine.
ATTENTION! Do not rinse the detergent container that has not been removed
with water. Before starting the washing machine, make sure that the detergent
container is properly closed.
WATER DRAIN FILTER CLEANING
ATTENTION! To avoid getting burned, wait until the water left in the washing
machine cools down! The water tap must be turned off!
Clean the water drain and fill filter every 6 months:
1. Shut off the tap so that no more water flows in and has to be drained. Switch the
appliance off. Unplug the power plug.
2. Open the drain filter cover. To accomplish this, you may gently apply pressure by
inserting a plastic instrument with a thin edge into the gap above the door.
3. Prepare a large container for draining the water.
4. Turn the pump cover counterclockwise to remove it. A small amount of residual water
may flow out when the cover is removed. Check to be sure the impeller where at the
back of the pump housing can now turn freely. Remove any lint, debris or detergent
residue from the threads of the pump cover and the pump cover housing. Replace
the pump cover by screwing tightly into position. Handle must be vertically.
