Water staying for a prolonged time inside the folds of the door seal can cause
an unpleasant smell.

DRUM ILLUMINATION
– The illumination will always be on during program or function setup.
– When a program is suspended the illumination can be activated by opening
the machine door.
– During program execution the illumination automatically turns on every time
a new washing stage starts.
– Touching any button, except the power button will also activate the drum
illumination.

CLEANING THE PUMP FILTER
The drain pump filter can retain scraps of fabric and small foreign objects during
laundry.
Regularly clean the filter to ensure proper operation of the washing machine.
Check the pump if the machine fails to drain water or tumble dry the laundry,
as well as if it emits an unusual noise during draining, which may be caused by
foreign objects blocking the pump.

– Depending on the program, hot water may be pumped through the drain pump.
– Never remove the pump cover during the rinsing cycle. Wait for the appliance
to complete operation in the relevant mode and start draining the water.
– Ensure the filter and the cover plate are properly seated when reinstalling
them.

LOAD BALANCING SYSTEM
The appliance features an automatic imbalance detection system. If your laundry
is not evenly spread around the circumference of the drum, the machine will
evenly distributed before tumble-drying. If the machine fails to distribute the
clothes within the specified time, the drum will not start spinning, to avoid
excessive vibration. In this case you will have to check if the clothes are not
entangled and select the “Tumble-Drying” program after rearranging the
clothes. If you wash a small quantity of clothes, e.g. a pair of Jeans, a sweater,
a bath towel, etc. the machine may not be able to tumble-dry it because of the
imbalance protection. Please wash large and small items together whenever you
can in order to ensure uniform weight distribution and smooth tumble-drying
operation.

  1. Remove the cover plate.
  2. Remove the filter by turning it counterclockwise.
  3. Remove foreign objects from the filter.
  4. Reinstall the filter and close the cover plate.

ATTENTION! If clothes of different types and materials are washed together the
automatic balancing system may repeatedly distribute and arrange the clothes,
which will extend the tumble-drying time. This is normal and not a sign of
malfunction.

CLEANING THE WATER INTAKE FILTER

7. MAINTENANCE

ATTENTION
– Attention! Always pull the plug from the electric socket and close the water
supply valve before cleaning, care and maintenance described below.
– Never use solvents for cleaning to avoid damage to the washing machine and
the emission of toxic or explosive gases.
– Do not spill water on the washing machine while cleaning.
– Do not use PCMX (chloroxylene) -containing detergents, ethyl alcohol, formic
acid or their equivalents for cleaning the appliance, as these substances can
damage it.

CLEANING THE APPLIANCE

1. Close the valve and disconnect the tube from it.
2. Disconnect the water supply tube from the washing machine. Pull out the filter
with long pliers.
3. Clean the water intake filter.
4. Refit the filter and reconnect the water supply tube.
5. Clean the filter every 3 month to ensure proper operation of the washing
machine.
NOTE: Clean the valve filter first, then the filter in the washing machine.

CLEANING THE WASHING AGENT TRAY AND ITS COMPARTMENTS

Regular and careful cleaning of the appliance will allow
extending its service life and retain its appealing exterior. If
necessary wipe the outer surface of the machine with a mild,
non-abrasive detergent. In case of a water spill, immediately
collect the water with a towel. Do not use sharp objects to
clean the machine to avoid damaging the housing and
impeding its operation.

ATTENTION
Never use aggressive chemicals, abrasive cleaning agents or solvents for
cleaning the appliance. They can damage the exterior finish.

Clean the detergent drawer regularly to prevent clogging.
Clean the detergent drawer as follows:
1. Press the button (located above the softener compartment) and remove the
tray.
2. Rinse the tray with water.
3. Clean the inside of the compartment with an old toothbrush or something
similar.
4. Replace the tray and return it to its original position.

CLEANING THE INSIDE OF THE DRUM
Wipe the drum dry after each use to remove any residues from the tap water,
washing chemicals, dirt and fabric particles, as well as to prevent additional
moisture from staying inside the drum and causing mould growth.
Metal clothing components (buttons, zippers, studs) can leave rust stains inside
the drum – take care to remove these stains without delay. The use of aggressive
detergents or rust removers for cleaning the drum is not allowed, therefore
regular preventive care is the best solution.
Besides, the washing machine has «Drum clean» function to assist you in
hygiene maintenance.

CLEANING THE DOOR GLASS AND SEAL

NOTES
– During cleaning, do not open the cover of the Intelligent Liquid Detergent
Container or tilt or rotate the detergent drawer to prevent the liquid detergent
from flowing out of the Intelligent Supply Container.
– Do not turn on the machine if the detergent dispenser compartment is not
installed. Always keep the detergent dispenser fully closed.

Wipe the glass and seal after each laundry to remove
pile and stains.
Remove coins, buttons and other small objects from the
folds of the door seal after each laundry.
