Sending highlight scenes to a smartphone
Highlight scenes you have saved can be sent to a smartphone. Install the “Image App” smartphone
app beforehand. (l 168)

Finish or stop highlight scene playback.

Touch [SEND TO SMARTPHONE].
≥The highlight scene is saved.
≥A message is displayed for about 5 seconds after saving is complete, then a QR code is
displayed on the screen of this unit.

Start up the smartphone application “Image App”.
≥When connecting with a QR code
Proceed to “Connecting with QR code”. (Below)
≥When connecting by entering an SSID and password
Proceed to “Connecting by entering an SSID and Password”. (Below)

On the smartphone, select [QR code], and scan the QR code displayed on the
screen of this unit.
≥When using an Android™ device, the smartphone and this unit are connected directly, allowing
you to use remote operations.
≥When using an iOS device, perform the following operations:

Select the option that allows you to install the app on the profile screen of the “Image App”, and
follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

Press the home button to close the displayed screen.

Touch [SSID] on the screen of this unit to display the SSID of this unit.

After selecting the network name (SSID) of this unit from the Wi-Fi setup of the smartphone,
start up “Image App”.
≥The Wi-Fi connection is established and the highlight scene you saved is sent to the smartphone.
≥When the QR code cannot be scanned, connect by entering an SSID and password.

Touch [EXIT] on this unit, or press the Wi-Fi button to exit remote control
mode.
≥The message is displayed. Touch [YES] to close the indication.

Touch [SSID] on the screen of this unit.

Turn on the Wi-Fi function in the smartphone’s setup menu.

On the smartphone’s Wi-Fi setting screen, select the SSID displayed on this
unit.

Enter the Password displayed on this unit’s screen on the smartphone.
≥The Wi-Fi connection is established and the highlight scene you saved is sent to the smartphone.

Touch [EXIT] on this unit, or press the Wi-Fi button to exit remote control
mode.
≥The message is displayed. Touch [YES] to close the indication.
≥Devices connected with [SEND TO SMARTPHONE] are not stored in the history.
