Review or change permissions

Review by feature

The first time you use an app, and sometimes when you install or update it, you are asked to grant the app
permission to access certain data and phone features. You can adjust these permissions at any time.

To adjust permissions by feature:

1.
Go to Settings > Security and privacy > Privacy.

2.
Tap Permission manager tab.

3.
Tap a feature to see which apps have permission to use it.

4.
Turn that permission on or off for each app as needed.

Review by app

To adjust permissions by app:

Touch and hold the app icon, then tap App info

Tap Permissions.

3.
Turn each permission on or off as needed.

Tip: To see how the app uses each permission, tap
