Unfold Your Phone to Book State
You can unfold the screen to an appropriate angle and place it vertically. You can use this
state when shooting photos or videos. For example, when taking portrait photos, you can
focus on parameters setting on one half screen, and preview on the other.
Enable Hovering Mode
This mode is perfect for a variety of activities including live streaming, music listening,
online meetings, and note-taking. It allows you to view content on the upper half of the
screen while interacting with controls on the lower half.
Enable Hovering Mode
Go to Settings > Foldable phones > Hover mode, and enable the System-equipped
switch.
When the app is in hovering mode, you can perform the following actions:
• Touchpad: The touchpad area allows for more gesture controls, enabling controlling the
upper half of the screen.
• App selector: Tap
to choose apps that support split-screen use. When exiting split-
screen, the app will return to hovering mode.
• Screenshot: Tap
to capture the current content on the upper half of the screen.
• Volume: Tap
, then swipe up or down to adjust the volume.
• Brightness: Tap
, then swipe up or down to adjust the screen brightness.
Enable Hovering Mode Automatically
In the Hover mode settings page, enable the Recommended apps switch according to
your usage habits, or set Experiential apps to Auto-enter. When you fold the phone up
and down within the apps, it will automatically enter Hover mode.
• Apps that support System-equipped will be displayed in the Recommended apps or
Experiential apps list.
• Apps that support adaptive hovering will be displayed in the Auto-adaptive list.
Enable Hovering Mode Manually
After System-equipped is enabled, in the Hover mode page, if the Recommended apps
switch is not enabled, or Experiential apps is set to Enter manually, fold the phone up or
