Settings
• Go to Settings > Accessibility features > Stylus to view the current battery level of the
stylus.
• Go to Settings > Accessibility features > Stylus > If the screen goes to sleep when you
are writing a note, tap the screen with your stylus to continue writing this note. This
feature is currently disabled, you can enable it in Stylus settings. to view the details of
the stylus or perform Firmware update.
The stylus pen will go into a deep sleep state after being left idle for a period of time. To wake
it up, please follow the above method.
Use a Stylus to Enable Instant Write
When the screen is off, tap the screen with a stylus to quickly open Notes for writing, and
even resume the last unsaved content, allowing you to extend your inspiration and
creativity anytime, anywhere. You can choose from a variety of stylus colors and use tools
to erase, rotate, and scale text.

Enable Instant Write: Go to Settings > Accessibility features > Stylus > Instant Write
and make sure Instant Write is turned on.
2 Set up Instant Write: In Instant Write, you can set your Instant Write preferences and
the screen-off time limit to continue writing:
•
Tap Continue writing your note to save the note or continue writing.
•
Tap Time limit to reset the time limit to continue writing.
When writing in Notes, tap the currently used brush in the toolbar to select the brush
thickness. When the current writing tool is the eraser, tap the eraser again to select Area
eraser, Stroke eraser, or Clear handwritten content.
Use a Stylus to Enable Global Handwriting
In any text box on the phone, writing with a stylus can accurately convert your writing into
text. You can also delete, select, and split the text by drawing wavy lines or horizontal lines.
Even mixed Chinese and English texts can be recognized.

Enable Global Handwriting: Go to Settings > Accessibility features > Stylus > Global
Handwriting, and turn on Global Handwriting.
2 Use stylus gestures: Edit the text in the search box or text box with the following stylus
gestures:
•
Delete: Delete the text by drawing a wavy line or zigzag line on it.
•
Select: Select the text by drawing a horizontal line on it.
•
Split: Split the text by drawing a vertical line downwards.
•
Combine: Combine the text by drawing a vertical line upwards.
Use a Stylus to Pick Colors Across Apps
When you use a stylus to draw in Notes, you can easily pick colors from other apps.
