Commonly Used Gestures
Basic Gestures and Shortcuts
Full screen navigation gestures
Go to Settings > System & updates > System navigation and make sure Gestures is
selected.
Return to the previous screen
Swipe inward from the left or right edge of the screen.
Return to the home screen
Swipe up from the bottom edge of the screen.
Access multitasking screen
Swipe up from the bottom edge of the screen and hold.
Switch apps
• Swipe along the bottom edge of the screen.
Before using this function, go to System navigation . Make sure
Slide across bottom to switch apps is turned on.
• Swipe in an arc along the bottom edge of the screen.
Knuckle Gestures
Go to Settings > Accessibility features > Shortcuts & gestures to enable Screenshot/
Global Favorites, Record screen.
