Setting the ID and PIN for the Administrator

Set the Administrator ID and Administrator PIN to create an administrator account.
By creating an administrator account, only those users who know these credentials can log in to Administrator Mode
to view and change important settings.

This section describes how to configure the settings using the control panel.
You can also configure the settings using Remote UI from a computer after the Administrator ID and PIN have been
set on the machine.

Administrator privileges are required.

1 On the control panel, select [Menu] in the [Home] screen, and press

2 Press [Management Settings]

➠The [Admin. Info. Settings] screen is displayed.
If the login screen appears, enter the currently set Administrator ID and PIN, and then press

enter the Administrator ID
3 Press [Administrator ID and Administrator PIN]

Specify any number. You cannot set a Administrator ID consisting of all zeros, such as "00" or "0000000."

4 Enter the Administrator PIN, and press
Specify any number other than "7654321." You cannot set a Administrator PIN consisting of all zeros, such as
"00" or "0000000."

5 Enter the PIN again, and press
➠The settings are applied.
●Do not forget the Administrator ID and PIN. If you forget your Administrator ID and PIN, contact your dealer
or service representative.

Setting the Administrator Information
●On the [Admin. Info. Settings] screen, press [Administrator Name] to set the name of the Administrator.
●You can also configure the e-mail address and other administrator information by using Remote UI from a
computer.
- The set information is displayed in [Status Monitor/Cancel]
[Device Information] of Remote UI.
